The Playground
I remember when I was seven
The beehive at the playground
The old, broken swings
That Pop-pop had made

We danced , and we slept
In that old, wooden place
And we played pretend games
From princesses to pirates
We had no time to waste

Until everything changed
At the end of summer
It went three to two
As fast as I could tie my shoes

My sister did not mind it
And neither did I
But my brother was in a serious school
And for playtime
And that was our last goodbye





 Happy Grumpy Thursday 
Teacher's greatest day
A mix of desserts and gifts
Any time of day
So come on down
To this delicious event
And have a good time
Moody likes it best
Especially black coffee
No matter what treat
But Blues makes it all
And she made this holiday
She is proud to serve
She will cook for hours
And will enjoy the smiles
And that Blues is me

My Signs
I have always wanted to learn it
But I never had time
From morning until night
I would be very busy
Or I would do nothing at all
But since the world has it's ups and downs
I finally have time
Since we are all stuck in our house
I will sign
The alphabet I have already learned
And now I am on numbers
By the time Summer is over
I will love to sign

My Room
It's my favorite place in the house
To eat, sleep, and play
Even though it's small
It's a cozy place to stay
Since I am here all the time
I go to my room all day
And when I am in my room
I don't want my laptop to go away

Our Sunday
It can be sunny
Or it can be moody
It could be festive
Or it could be bluesy
It includes church, family, and everything you love
From sleeping, to eating
Or even drawing a dove
Remember that it all came from above

My pets
Bruno, Turbo
Oscar, Sonny
Even Zorro and Apolo too
Moe, Curly, and Larry
And they will all play with you
Three dogs, three cats
Fish and hermit crabs
Even if they're not there anymore
Their love will still be everywhere

Happy April Fools
Everything's a prank
Even for today

Today is the day
No matter where we are now
We are here to stay

So let us look up
Many ways to prank people
Because it is fun

So make it all great
And that is all for today

 Sorry, But You're Forced 

Two weeks have passed
And the time has come
Get ready, get set
And run, run, run

Get your electronics charged
And your brain in gear
But do not fear
And don't think about dropping a tear

The past is the past
And this emergency won't last
I promise that

The school is ready
For you to begin
So get prepared
And win, win, win

It comes April ninth
On Happy Grumpy Thursday
Eleven o'clock
It will be awesome
So get your desserts ready
And let it begin
We will talk and talk
Until we stop the meeting
And will say goodbye
And then will walk out
So that is what will happen

Traveling

Tell me where you want to go

And I will take you there

Just not right now

Because the virus is in the air

But we will have fun

How we will get there

And when we will get there

We will not see a bear

Traveling is awesome 

It brings people joy

Wherever you go

You will enjoy

So pack your bags 

And get ready for an adventure

Because wherever you go

You will always remember

Things I miss
No drama club
No fresh air
No sports at all
No going anywhere

No talking to friends
No playing at school
No, it's not cool

So please only go for emergency
And stay away from everyone
Because that's what some people aren't doing
Because they think it's a joke 

Happy Birthday
Today is the day
To just say hip, hip, hooray
It is a birthday

No matter what age
Everyday is a birthday
All around the world

So scream and shout this
Today is someone's birthday
It is everyday

Easter
It comes with candy
And can come different days
But has a meaning

We celebrate this
During the season of Spring
Where Jesus rose again
And struggled for his name

He rose on the third day
And worn his struggles out
And he was back from death

So it's not only Christmas
That has treats and gifts
But remember it's fun to have fun
But appreciate it, too

My Artwork
My mind goes back to when I was six
And when we talked about seasons
Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
I liked them for many reasons

Then I would go and get a canvas
And sketch what would come to mind
Then I would get my paints ready
And I didn't waste any time

I would finish in an hour
And then I would clean up
And if I had time
I would go back to when I was six
And would do my favorite thing again

You weren't any different
Than anyone else in the room
But you had to know your'e impression

You had to get good grades
And had a chance to be ANYTHING
You just had to get there yourself
So if you didn't make it,
Try again next year

Some people think about
Not making an impression
Others just fool around

No class can be perfect
And from anyone's background
No class was too weird or too smart
Too dumb or too normal

our normal work

Welcome once again
To this amazing event
Of reading these poems
And eating an amazing scent
So today if you are bored
Our OTHER teachers have something
For us to do
You can do art
The fine thing that
Anyone can do
You can make a beautiful piece
Or just eat a piece of cake
But that leads us to our next thing
Gym
The great, fun thing
That exercises you, too
From contortionists to soccer
You can pick anything you want to do
And speaking of any
How about Computers
When you can pick anything to do
Just remember about the PowerPoint that's due
And speaking of due
Music is a great one, too
You usually don't get any homework
So right now she gives you little work
And it isn't even due!!!
And Library
The fun place where you get to read
Yeah projects are due
But that's how she grades you!!!
She can't grade you on the books you pick
Or the books you bring back,
That's not a full grade!!!
You can't do nothing,
You have to do something
And that's why things are due!!
And all you have to do
Is listen to her read!
But Library's awesome remember that, too!
So these are the amazing things you can do
And some aren't even grading you!!
So be grateful of what little you do
